Research Project:

My Master of Science project involves an in depth investigation of dollar spot, caused by the pathogen Sclerotinia homoeocarpa. Specifically I am investigating the prevelance of pathogen resistance to commonly used fungicides on golf courses in New England. In addition to resistance, I will be investigating the influence of various cultural and chemical management strategies for dollar spot.

In addition to the my thesis project on Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, I am also involved in a variety of additional agronomic projects. These projects include the evaluation of chemical control of various turfgrass diseases, select weed remediation studies and the evaluation of plant growth regulators for suppressing annual bluegrass seedheads and improving overal putting green quality.
